The other weekend, we teamed up with our friends at Plastic Free West Norwood and did a high street sweep of West Norwood, popping into shops and businesses and having a chat with them regarding their use of plastic, and more broadly their environmental impact.

It was a super positive experience with a number of businesses showing interest in the different options available to them and keen to hear more about what they could do to help improve their green credentials.

By adopting more sustainable business practices, the benefits would not only be confined to the environment, but businesses could also expect to see a reduction in operational costs, better customer engagement, new marketing opportunities and increased staff motivation.

Our work here however is just the start and we’re looking forward to a busy couple of months ahead of us with plans in the pipeline to work with Lambeth’s Business Improvement Districts and get the word out there even more through some engaging events and campaigns.
